Swiss Cheese

Swiss cheese, famous for its holes, gets them from carbon dioxide bubbles released by bacteria during the aging process.

Keep Swiss cheese in its original packaging or wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and store it in the refrigerator. Use within three to four weeks. If freezing, wrap tightly and use within six months.
