Freezing works well for many herbs, including parsley, dill, basil, chives lemon balm, mint and tarragon.

Select fresh herbs that are vibrant and aromatic. Store properly to maintain freshness.

Store fresh herbs in the refrigerator, wrapped in a damp paper towel and placed in a plastic bag, and use within one to two weeks. Dried herbs should be stored in an airtight container in a cool, dark place and used within six months to a year.
